Creative Socials: SCREEN PRINTING
Free, just drop in!
These sessions are designed for students, but are open to everyone.
Fancy doing something a bit different? Come along to Creative Socials at Warwick Arts Centre for a chance to switch off, get creative and spend some time with other students.
Drawing on themes from the British Art Show 10, this hands-on workshop invites visitors into the world of screen printing. Two dedicated benches, one for fabric, one for paper, will be set up for the session, giving participants the chance to print their own tote bag, or artwork to take home.
We'll explore how screens are made and demystify the printmaking process, covering both photographic and stencil-based techniques with artist Kate Rossin. Whether visitors are curious first-timers or seasoned makers, they'll leave with hands-on printmaking experience and a finished piece to call their own.
No previous creative experience is needed - just bring your ideas and have a go. This workshop is free and all materials are provided. Come along, get creative and leave with your very own screen-printed tote bag.
