Jodie Foster brings impeccable French, comic timing and charisma to this playful mystery thriller.
After the suicide of a patient, psychoanalyst Lilian Steiner (Foster) suspects foul play. Enlisting the help of her ex-husband-cum-sleuthing partner (Daniel Auteuil), their investigation leads to unexpected conclusions. Drawing on Alfred Hitchcock and Brian De Palma, this wildly enjoyable caper is as full of charm as its magnetic protagonist.
