Menopause Makes - Drop-In Weaving Activity
Free, just drop in!
Join artist Ann Middleton for a free drop-in activity as part of Menopause Makes, an Arts Council England-funded community arts project exploring menopause through creativity, conversation and shared experiences.
Using strips of fabric, wool and textile scraps, visitors are invited to weave into a large section of netting that will eventually become part of the back of a giant walk-in patchwork cardigan installation.
You can contribute as much or as little as you like - add a single strip, stay for a few minutes, or spend longer developing an area of the piece.
No previous creative experience is needed.
Each contribution will become part of a collective artwork made by people and communities across Coventry and Warwickshire, helping to make the often-hidden experiences of menopause more visible through colour, texture and making.
Free drop-in activity. All materials provided.
