Ryan Gosling (First Man, Barbie) stars in Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s (Spider-Verse, Lego Movie) adaptation of Andy Weir’s novel. 

When science teacher Ryland Grace (Gosling) wakes up on a spaceship, he doesn’t know who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, he remembers he’s been tasked with solving the riddle behind the mysterious substance that's causing the sun to die out. It’s a monumental mission that calls on all his training – but he may not have to do it alone.
