Ally Caldecote and some favourite scientists from the University of Warwick who are leaving their labs to entertain, inspire and amaze audiences. Bring family and friends, pull on a festive jumper and join the audience for an evening of mind-boggling science and explosive experiments!

What is the secret to thinking like a physicist? Did a cosmic artist design the universe? Will Warwick’s astrophysicists discover a new Earth in the New Year?

Join Professor Chris Hooley, Daisy Ashworth, Dr Lauren Doyle and Dr David Brown as they uncover what makes a physicist tick, how the universe moved from chaos to order, and give you the inside scoop on The European Space Agency’s PLATO mission, launching in 2027.

We’ll have Live Labs with Warwick Institute of Engagement in our foyer spaces from 5.30pm so you can get up close and hands on with real-life science before the Christmas Lectures begin.
