Wim Wenders’ Paris, Texas places his European sensibility in the desert landscapes of the American Southwest, exploring vast open spaces and the intricacies of the human heart.

Travis (Harry Dean Stanton) has been gone for years when he’s reunited with his brother Walt (Dean Stockwell) and his young son Hunter (Hunter Carson). Before long, Travis goes in search of his missing wife, and Hunter’s mother, Jane (Nastassja Kinski), attempting to reconcile the shattered pieces of their lives. Wenders’ profoundly moving film is a story of isolation, yearning, love and regret.
