Casper (voiced by Malachi Pearson) is a kind young ghost who peacefully haunts Whipstaff Manor, a crumbling mansion in Friendship, Maine. When afterlife specialist James (Bill Pullman) arrives to rid the premises of its wicked spirits, he brings along his teenage daughter, Kat (Christina Ricci) and Casper promptly falls in love with her – but their budding relationship is complicated by his poltergeist uncles and their mischievous antics…

"It's my Staff Pick and I'll cry if I want to! I've chosen this to celebrate its 31st Anniversary (because of 31 days in October, and it's a Halloween film, of course!). 

I have fond memories of watching this film as a child, going on an adventure with Casper and his up-to-no-good ghost uncles, Stretch, Stinkie and Fatso, and I've only ever seen this classic on VHS...

A beautiful story about compassion, friendship and how to deal with loss, with many laughs in between it is enjoyable for the entire family!"

Relaxed screenings are designed to welcome anyone who may benefit from a more informal and supportive environment - this can include families with young children, and people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory or communication disorders, or a learning disability.

These screenings will have a relaxed approach to noise and movement in the cinema, and audience members are free to come and go as needed. A Quiet Space or chill-out area will be available, along with noise-cancelling headphones for both adults and children.

Relaxed screenings will have lower sound levels and also the lights will be slightly turned up in the cinema.
