In socialist East Germany during 1990s reunification, three friends stumble upon a fortune in soon-to-be-worthless East Germany currency. With just days to work out what to do with this unexpected windfall before it becomes useless, they seek help from friends and neighbours in a plan to exploit the cash and outwit the incoming Westerners – before time runs out.
