Families and Early Years

Getting creative is for all ages. We are excited to welcome you to our building with free, artist led, creative activities for families each week. All of our activities are led by artists and designed for families to create, make and play together.

Free Family Foyer Activities

Family Sundays

Every Sunday during term time, drop-in for creative workshops led by our artists-in-residence.

Working across drawing, sculpture, animating, and movement we invite you to come and spend time together as a family, making, exploring and having fun in unique and exciting ways! 4 and up are welcome to take part.

Mini Creatives

Every Tuesday during term time, drop-in to our artist-led sessions that focus on music, and storytelling for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups. Our multi-sensory space for early years inspires imaginations, encourages curiosity, and supports development.

This is a space for new families to develop creatively together, with an age recommendation of 0-4 years.

Musical Picnics

A monthly, drop-in series of participatory family performances. On Sundays in term time, for families of all ages.

These hugely popular events have included sessions in recent months ranging from beatboxing and folk to brass band and jazz.

With acts changing monthly, there’s a new experience every time!

Family Singing

Family singing fun happens on selected Sundays during term-time. It's perfect for first timers and regulars.

You will learn songs to get you singing, moving and dancing, with a healthy dose of creativity thrown in. Open to all ages, you just need to bring yourself and your willingness to have lots of fun!
