Autumn 2020 Update
For the remainder of 2020, in line with many other arts organisations and following government guidance, Warwick Arts Centre remains closed.
It’s been a challenging few months for everyone, and as you are probably aware, we’ve been quiet, with the majority of staff on furlough. A small team are now back. Whilst the world slowly returns to a new normal, we look forward to Warwick Arts Centre once again being the place where we can all meet, take artistic journeys and find common ground.
2021 will be our year. A year when a £29 million investment in our building will come to fruition. A year when all eyes will be on Coventry as the year it becomes U.K. City of Culture.
For the remainder of this year however, and in line with most other arts organisations and following government guidance, Warwick Arts Centre remains closed.
Whilst our doors may be closed to the public, we are open to a world that is changing, and Warwick Arts Centre being part of that shift. This autumn we will be supporting the work of the University of Warwick introducing a cohort of new and returning students through our doors, while also planning a major public relaunch.
A relaunch that will welcome many more people to a Warwick Arts Centre that will include 3 new cinemas, a new ground floor gallery and a new restaurant. A space where everyone can come to share our love of the arts.
We can’t wait to welcome everyone back, so keep an eye on our website and social channels for updated information about 2021 in the coming weeks.
