
Autumn Half-Term at Warwick Arts Centre
A trio of villains and a host of free family activities will ensure youngsters are thoroughly entertained this Autumn Half-Term (Sat 26 Oct to Sun 3 Nov 2024) at Warwick Arts Centre, Coventry.
The meanest, nastiest witch, troll and ghost prepare to do their very worst in The Baddies (Sat 26- Sun 27 Oct) - a hilarious stage adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s smash-hit story for all the family.
The diabolical threesome love being bad, roaring, spooking and casting wicked spells, and set out to scare a young girl who's moved into the nearby cottage. Will they succeed in frightening her? And if so, which of the baddies is the baddest? Or is the girl braver than they think?
With songs by Joe Stilgoe, The Baddies has been adapted by Freckle Productions - the company behind such family-friendly hits as Zog, Stick Man, and Zog and The Flying Doctors.
In addition to the must-see family threatre show, there’s also Warwick Arts Centre’s regular free weekly drop-in Mini Creatives sessions for ages 0-4 (every Tuesday until Tue 3 Dec, 10.30am-12pm), the all-ages Workshop Wednesdays (Wed 30 Oct, 1.30pm-4pm), and Family Sundays (every Sunday until Sun 8 Dec, 1.30pm-4pm), as well as Family Singing (Sun 27 Oct, 11.30am-12.30pm).
The ever popular My First Concert: Our Musical World (Thu 31 Oct, 1pm, children free, adults £5) also returns during Half-Term for ages 0-7 years.
