Censored for decades, Ken Russell’s visionary masterpiece returns in a definitive director’s cut and fully restored digital 4k.
Starring Oliver Reed and Vanessa Redgrave, The Devils is a prescient, provocative epic of obsession and corruption. Inspired by the true story of a 17th century priest accused of bewitching a convent of nuns, it lays bare the collusion of church and state through a searing vision of religious persecution, collective hysteria and institutional corruption.
