Join Birmingham-based textile artist Jane Thakoordin for a relaxed, hands-on workshop exploring the idea of home, connection and resilience.
You’ll create your own portable shrine using meaningful images, treasured symbols and simple hand-stitching techniques. Think of it as a tiny, handmade space for the things that matter to you — a pocket-sized reminder of your strengths, the people and places that support you, and the things that help you keep going.
No previous experience is needed. Take your time, experiment with textiles and make something that’s completely your own.
Come along, get creative and leave with a unique handmade keepsake that you can carry with you.
