Story Story Festival
Along with the Shoot Festival Coventry and Arts Council England, Warwick Arts Centre is supporting a three day digital theatre festival in early February 2021: the Story story festival.
Story story festival will amplify the voices of emerging writers, poets, and theatre-makers.
The festival is curated by Lanaire Aderemi, a storyteller who is committed to strengthening and archiving the voices and stories of marginalised people in imaginative and innovative ways. A recent University of Warwick graduate, Lanaire premiered An Evening with Verse Writer at Warwick Arts Centre in 2019 to sell-out audiences.
Open conversations, commissions and workshops across the festival weekend will inspire artists and audiences alike with the knowledge and skills needed to share their stories with the world.
Story story festival will culminate in a screening of Lanaire’s new documentary about the making of An Evening with Verse Writer.
