February at Warwick Arts Centre brings a welcome burst of creativity to the winter season, with world-class performances, films, and experiences to enjoy.

Laugh out loud with live comedy

February’s comedy programme ranges from playful chaos to sharp stand-up, with WiFi Wars bringing interactive, audience-led gaming comedy to the stage.

For stand-up fans, the month features an exceptional line-up. Desiree Burch: The Golden Wrath brings fearless humour and powerful storytelling, while Emmanuel Sonubi: Life After Near Death blends warmth, honesty, and sharp observations.

Rising comedy voices also take the spotlight with Ania Magliano: Peach Fuzz and Sam Nicoresti: Baby Doomer, both offering bold, contemporary perspectives.

Improvised brilliance comes courtesy of Paul Merton and Suki Webster’s Improv Show, while comedy fans can enjoy surreal storytelling with Garth Marenghi: This Bursted Earth – Book Tour.

Music and classical highlights

Classical music takes centre stage this February with concerts that range from family favourites to grand orchestral performances. 

Enjoy sweeping symphonic sound with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, or experience musical storytelling brought to life in Peter and the Wolf, perfect for introducing younger audiences to classical music.

Opera lovers can enjoy the emotional power of Madama Butterfly – Ellen Kent’s Farewell Opera Tour, while babies, children and their adults can enjoy music at We Will Rock You.

Completing the classical programme is Balladeste, a lunchtime concert offering expressive and contemporary interpretations of classical repertoire.

February’s live music programme celebrates creativity across genres and cultures. Develop your craft at Songwriting Workshops, or discover emerging talent at Open Mic Night.

Regular favourites return with Jazz Fridays, while global sounds take over the stage with Seckou Keita: Homeland Band with Natacha Atlas and Samy Bishai.

Celebrate folk traditions with Kathryn Tickell & The Darkening, enjoy Irish music and storytelling at The Irish House Party, or experience epic live sound with The Best of Tubular Bells I, II & III and The Classic Rock Show: World Tour 2026.

This month’s theatre programme features bold contemporary work and imaginative storytelling. 

Experience innovative international theatre with Ontroerend Goed: Handle With Care, or discover emerging voices through Made in the Midlands.

Nine Sixteenths by Paula Varjack invites you on a journey through three acts, exploring themes of representation and pop culture with a nostalgia for the early 00s.

Families can enjoy theatrical magic with James Phelan: The Man Who Was Magic.

Regular favourites Family Sundays and Mini Creatives offer welcoming spaces for younger audiences, while Family Singing brings everyone together through music.

For adults and young people looking to develop new skills, Creative Socials and Introduction to Screenwriting offer relaxed, supportive learning environments.

Cinema highlights this February

February’s cinema programme spans international film, documentaries, live screenings, and special events. Theatre lovers can enjoy NT Live: The Audience in the cinema. Check out Arrival, our staff pick for February, and the epic tale of lust, love and madness with Wuthering Heights.

Romantic and reflective screenings include In the Mood for Love and 100 Nights of Hero, while animation fans can enjoy The Secret of Kells.
