Announcing our Opening Celebrations

Whether you are arriving for an event or just to look at our new spaces, join us for activities, performances and fun popping up in unexpected corners of our new building. Drop by for coffee or a catch up with friends and unleash your imaginations again in our rejuvenated Arts Centre. 

Fri 1 October

• If you're arriving for John Grant that evening at 8pm, or one of our films, you'll be in for a treat as from 2pm there will be buskers and dance performances in the foyer and outside you'll be welcomed by some joyful, interactive robot air sculptures
• At 2.30pm we have the Reimagining Middlemarch Talk (FREE)
• At 6pm we have the free work in progress of The Write to Rave by Debris Stephenson

Sat 2 & Sun 3 October

From 10am - 4pm on Sat 2 & Sun 3 October we'll be focusing on welcoming families and friends to Warwick Arts Centre.

Join us for:

• Free drop-in creative workshops - such as on Saturday, Origami and on Sunday, Animation
• Free artist-led activities - Music workshops on Sat & Dance workshops on Sun
• Tours of the building
• Buskers & musical entertainment throughout the day
• Dance Machine (Gallery)
• Face painters
• Sculpture Trail - pick up a new map from our welcome desk
• Our joyful, interactive robot air sculptures

There will be a pop up cafe open open in the foyer from 12pm for drinks and refreshments + More food & drink options

NB Please note that our previously advertised weekend free family films are now sold out on both days.

Mon 4 - Fri 8 October 

In addition, throughout the daytimes from Mon 4 - Fri 8 October there will be free entertainment and creative workshops popping up in our foyers for University staff, students and daytime visitors.

In the daytimes there will be:

• Tours of the building
• Buskers & musical entertainment at lunchtimes & early evening
• Dance Machine (Gallery)
• Creative Workshops including Slow Stitch & Breathe, Slow Photography and Beatbox Poetry & Tongue Twisting
