Summer cinema discounts for families

Posted
Friday 17 July

Thanks to 2026's Great British Summer Savings scheme, families attending film screenings at Warwick Arts Centre can now enjoy cheaper tickets for some amazing films!

A special discounted rate of £6.75 applies to Under 18s tickets for all our cinema screenings between Thursday 25 June and Tuesday 1 September 2026 (inclusive), while relaxed screenings for Under 18s are priced at just £4.56

Among the movies Coventry and Warwickshire families can now enjoy for less are the must-see box office hit Toy Story 5 (U), plus a selection of movie classics by legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg - as part of our Spielberg Summer season.

These include the Oscar-winning E.T. The Extra Terrestrial (U); fantasy adventure Hook (U); stomping dino' romp Jurassic Park (12); and 1975's seminal Jaws (12A).

The budget-saving reduction has been made possible by the UK Government's Great British Summer Savings scheme, which has temporarily cut VAT.

Please note: The reduced rate automatically applies to U18 tickets for films classified as U, 12, 12A and 15 certificate.

This reduction is only available for events happening up, and including, Tuesday 1 September and does not apply to tickets purchased prior to this date for activities that take place after the scheme has concluded.
